Hello and welcome to Year 6.

We hope that you find our section of the website really useful. We will endeavour to post lots of photos which will give you a flavour of what goes on here at Gainsborough. In addition, we'd like to add information about what your child is currently learning and what you can do to support them through their last year of primary school. Firstly, let us introduce ourselves...

Have you met the team?

We are a dynamic group who believe in working hard to achieve the best that we can! Did you know that...

Miss Lee loves art, crafts and has a passion for travel and visiting new destinations.  Her favourite thing to do is spending quality time with her young son.

Miss Marshall is crochet crazy. She loves nothing more than sitting in her shed whipping up a wooly creation! When she's not crocheting you can find her spending time with her teenage sons or walking her dog Finley!

Mrs Webster has two very successful and grown-up children. Her daughter has just finished university and her son is a basketball genius who plays for the Welsh national team.

Mrs Addis's family have obviously got the 'teaching' bug? Not only is she a valuable member of our teaching team, but both of her daughters are teachers too!

A safe and supportive environment; safe from hurt by others, in what they say or do; safe to learn within an enquiring environment; encouraging creativity, and a questioning mind.

Smart ways of thinking and learning, behaving and the way in which we present ourselves, as a member of Gainsborough School.

Treat others as you wish to be treated, help each other to be happy within school, greet others with a smile, help to create a happy and enthusiastic place to learn.
